A sunny winter

Hello there, it's been a while.
We didn't write AT ALL lately. So sorry, we actually have no this time.
Busy? Maybe busy being a teenager with a school life and friends.
Buuuut, we're back (again). So let's jump into it :D.

It's already November, time sure does fly. It feels like it was just yesterday when I was tanning on the beach, sleeping late, wearing shorts and eating ice cream.
Now it's rainy, gray, cold and windy. The trees are losing their leafs, it gets darker faster, people have the winter blues and you just CAN'T get out of your comfy, warm bed.
But the cold days can be beautiful, enchanting and romantic too. You just have got to open your eyes and wear your most gorgeous and sunny smile. Before the leafs fall, they first change colours, you can now finally wear all those cute hats and sock you've bought, you can enjoy the magical white landscapes soon, you can snuggle up in blankets and drink hot chocolate while watching your favourite films and don't forget the holidays! The cosy Christmas eve. Eating with your family, unwrapping presents, giving presents, decorating,... New year, drinking champagne, wearing a beautiful dress, using your best make up skills, drinking champagne, partying with your friends, a new start and the best of all the spectacular count down followed by sparkly, colourful fireworks.
Feeling the spirit yet? While thinking about that enjoy these outrageous pictures :)!

Photoshoot II

I haven't told you this yet - but I love taking pictures. Unfortunately, we forget a lot of things. A lot of special moments and a lot of the beauty of life. We remember the bad things that happened to us, but we forget the good ones. For me, taking pictures is providing memories from getting lost. It's capturing the good moments in life. Moments that make you smile when you look back at them. This is another photoshoot I did with one of my best friends Riet. I hope you like it!

 This is me.
 Riet and I.

Goodbye doesn't mean we will never meet again

I’m not telling you goodbye. It’s not like we will never see each other again, right? I can see by the tears streaming down your face that you think so. To you this is the end. To you I’m leaving and you’re ending up alone. But I’m not. I’m only giving you space, giving you the tools to grow, to learn and to live. To live a life that is not dependable of me. To live one of your own and when you will have achieved that, I will come back.
You look at me with those eyes. Those dark brown eyes, filled with pain, hate and misunderstanding. Filled with tears and loneliness and fears. Filled with a ripped image of you and me.  I can see that you try not to cry. You try to show me how strong you are – don’t do that. I know you’re not strong. I know that deep inside you are a scared little puppy hiding under the couch, not willing to come out. Not willing to face the world and fight reality. You’d rather cry and hide, than fight and stand up again.
I’m not judging you, not at all. I understand it. I understand the fear and that’s why I’m leaving. I’m leaving because thanks to me, you are still hiding under that couch. I fight your battles. You should fight them yourself. Little by little get out of that dark space you’re in and step into the light. Don’t close your eyes, don’t turn away from it. Accept it, embrace it, breath it.
You’re still looking at me. You try to show me how bad I am for leaving you, how much I hurt you. But it’s not touching me, it’s not making my heart bleed because I know I am doing the right thing. I tried to explain it to you, I tried to show it, write it, I tried everything, but you only see what you want to see. It is absolutely useless to try to explain myself. The only thing I can do now is pack my bags, put them in my trunk, get in the car and drive away.
When I look in my mirror, I see you fall again. I hope this time, you have enough strength to get back up.  Alone.
Love, Tina.

Photoshoot

Hey guys,
it's been a long time I've posted something, but I was kind of busy. I finally have some time to make a new post!! One of my best friends, who I love very much, Riet, came to visit me. We desided to go to a forest, but our walk turned in to a photoshoot. Here are the pictures!

PS. I am the girl with the white top and the blue skirt. Riet is the one with the black hair.

From Canterbury with love!

Hey guys,
so here it is; the photopost of Canterbury. Get ready for it 'cause there will be a lot of pictures! I first of all want to thank one of my best friends Riet (sweettserenity.blogspot.com) for her beautiful pictures!

Canterbury is a quite pretty city. I sometimes had the feeling I walked in to some kind of Harry Potter movie because of its cute little shops and the old an gorgeous cottages. It was a school trip and we didn't have a lot of time for ourselves, but we had enough time to visit some shops and to enjoy the city.

Forever Young

All girls had this dream. They wanted to be an actress, a singer, a model, a star. But with years they grew up. They've got to know this thing called "disappointment" and "reality". And so their dreams changed. Now they want to grow up and be mothers, lawyers, doctors, politicians or an other job that gives you a damn load of money. But deep down there, there's still that little girl. She's crying, whispering, singing in the bottoms of our hearts. And on a late sleepless night you hear her reminding you. Your old wish. And you laugh it away, telling yourself that that's impossible, that it's naive.

And maybe it is. Maybe it is naive. But certainly not impossible. Because c'mon, most girls gave up their dream without trying, without fighting. And maybe it was the right decision to give up, but what if it wasn't? What if you actually could become a star, if you could be famous. What if you actually could accomplish your dearest dream and make yourself proud?

I've been thinking about this a lot lately, because my mom asked me if I wanted to go back to the music academy to learn to play the piano. I thought about her idea for a few days, and then I realized that when I was younger the reason that I wanted to play the guitar was because I've wanted to be in a band and I was told that I am a terrible singer. Although I never tried to learn it. So right now I discovered that you're never to old to chase your dreams. That no matter what, if something was supposed to happen, fate will throw it at you anyway. So why pushing it away? Why not at least trying? In the end, we live this life only once.

Cold outside, warm inside

This Monday I don't have to go to school, and unfortunately I'll be spending it under my blanket and surrounded by a billion tissues. Yes it's a very glamours way to spend your day off. The I-have-a-flu-way.

And since the coming week is going to be a really cold, I won't be the only ill one. Here are my tips to feel less cranky and get better fast.

1. Drink a lot, take a whole bottle water into your room and leave it open. So every time you feel like snacking you can drink instead.

2. Drink warm thee, for me it makes my throat hurt less and warms me up when I'm cold.

3. Read a book in bed, since it'll make you sleepy.

4. Sleep, it works better than any pills.

5. Eat fruit and vegetables. They will help your body to fight the virus/bacteria's.

6. Ask your best friend to come over. They will cheer you up and you'll forget your pain and illness

7. Eat soup. Jep, grandma's chicken-soup is magical.

8. Forget your illness. The fastest and most fun way to get better, is to simply to forget that you're sick.

Hope you won't be needing these tips, and if you will hope you'll get better soon!!!
